Collection: Giant Kelp Collection

Giant kelp, Macrocystis pyrifera, is an ecosystem engineer that provides habitat and in some places it keeps the waves glassy. Each kelp is collected sustainably and at depth to ensure quality specimens. I studied Giant Kelp for many years and am drawn to their scimitar blades, the tip of the stipe where new blades and pneumatocysts (those air floats) form. She's that girl.
